Our standard
Accessibility
We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA, in light and dark mode, on phones and on desktops.
What we’ve done
- Contrast. Every text and background colour pair is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for control borders), in both light and dark mode.
- Keyboard. A skip link opens every page, every control is a real button, link or form field, and focus is always visible.
- Your settings. The site follows your system’s dark-mode setting (or the toggle in the header) and turns off transitions if you’ve asked for reduced motion. There’s no autoplay, parallax or carousel.
- Structure. One main heading per page, landmarks for navigation and content, and labelled form fields.
- Images. Until our first collection is photographed, pieces are shown as line drawings, each with a text description.
